Mummy & Daddy went to see Dr Lim Lean Soon, who would be doing the detailed scan. The detailed scan was done in about half an hour. And Dr Lim also confirmed that all is normal. The report of the detailed scan would be given to me on my next visit.
After that, Mummy & Daddy went back to see Dr Lim, and Dr Lim gave Mummy the updated report of her prenatal risk screening for down syndrome and neural tube defects. This report reflects the test being done when I am 15+ weeks in Mummy's stomach, instead of 16+ weeks as reflected in the previous report. And with the test being done when I am 15+ weeks, the test result is normal!
Today is Mummy's birthday. Daddy celebrated Mummy's birthday at Sharkey's @ Rasa Sentosa. While taking a walk by the beach before reaching Sharkey's, Mummy told Daddy that I am precious to her and that she would stick with me whether I am normal or not. Although Daddy was a bit concerned as to whether they would be able to cope, but he agreed with Mummy's decision. Daddy & Mummy are waiting for the detailed scan that would be done on my 5th month to further confirm that all is well.
Apart from that, Daddy & Mummy continue to place their trust in God that I would be fine. And every night, Daddy would lay his hands on Mummy's stomach and pray for me.
