At the Gynae's Office the 10th time
It's another visit to the gynae's office again! On the ultrasound, Dr Lim mentioned that I look fine and healthy! But Dr Lim is a bit worried about Mummy's weight gain. This is because she is into her 3rd trimester and she has only gained 3kgs. Dr Lim asked Mummy if she is working very hard. Mummy gave the question due consideration and wondered if shopping, travelling and getting my baby stuff ready was considered hard work??!!?? She decided that that was not counted and she told Dr Lim no. Dr Lim advised her to eat more as she needed to gain more weight. By now, Mummy will be seeing Dr Lim on alternate weeks. So Daddy & Mummy will get to see me quite often!

From Australia back to Singapore
It's flight day! We drove to the airport, off loaded the luggage, returned the rented car, and then waited to board our flight. We are flying business class on Singapore Airlines to Singapore. It is a blessing that we are flying business class, because poor Mummy is starting to get more backaches. So the comfy seats in business class do help her back.
After 6 hours of flight, we are back in Singapore! After collecting our luggage, we made the trip back to 107 Jervois Road #03-03. And it's home sweet home!

Day 2 in Brisbane (Australia)
It's shopping day! Daddy & Mummy are off to Queenstreet Mall! It's a street that has been closed off to traffic with shops lining both sides of the street. Daddy and Mummy spent a whole day there, before heading back to the hotel.
As they were tired from spending a day out, they decided to pack a pizza and a sandwich from Macdonalds for dinner. After that, it was packing for the trip home to Singapore tomorrow.

From Surfers Paradise to Brisbane (Australia)
It is time for us to leave the beaches of Surfer's Paradise and to head back to the city area. We are heading to Brisbane today. We left Surfer's Paradise and on the way, we stopped by at Harbour Town! It is a factory outlet! After that, we had lunch before resuming out journey to Brisbane. Pictures of Mummy take at Harbour Town
On reaching Brisbane, we checked into our hotel, Holiday Inn Brisbane. It is near the train station, so train tracks can be seen from the window of the room. After the 4 hour journey - 2 hours driving and 2 hours stop-over at Harbour Town-, Daddy & Mummy were tired and took a rest at the hotel first.
Then, it was off to dinner near the pier side. The pictures below were taken there.

Day 4 in Surfers Paradise (Australia)
As it is Sunday, and being Chinese, we ended up doing what most chinese do on a Sunday. Do you know what that is?? Here's a hint!
Okay! If you guessed it was 'Yum Cha'......I'm sorry... but no prizes for the right guess....cause it was pretty obvious what it was from the picture! This restaurant serves a 'Yum Cha' buffet! So we had our share of 'char siew bao', 'ha gao', 'siew mai' and a lot of other 'dim sum' stuff. Here is Mummy enjoying her 'char siew bao' with me.
After that, it was back to the Pacific Fair as it is a very big place and we didn't manage to cover all of it yesterday. After much walking, tiredness calls.....so it was back to the hotel for a rest. Then we went to Max's Seafood Restaurant which was at one of the malls near Broadbeach. Daddy had some bugs (it's a seafood and not the bugs bugs) and Mummy had a seafood in lobster bisque meal.
After dinner, we went to take a look at the casino at Conrad Jupiters. Hey! I must be the youngest person to ever enter the casino!

Day 3 in Surfers Paradise (Australia)
Today is Saturday! So it is markets day! We are off to the Carrera Markets. However, this time round, the market was not as good as it was in 2003. That's what Mummy said. In the end, Mummy didn't buy much stuff and only left with a big bob dog for me.
Then it was off to lunch at the malls near broadbeach. We went to this Roma Italian Restaurant. Mummy had a delicious veal meal, while Daddy had a yummy seafood risotto. Daddy told the waiter that since the food was so yummy, they would come back again for lunch tomorrow.
Then it was off to the hotel to take a short rest. And after that, we went to Pacific Fair to shop. After shopping, Daddy & Mummy decided to catch a movie. And it's a Herbie movie. Before the movie started, we went to get dinner at the food court near the cinema. This picture of Mummy is taken at the food court.

From Noosa To Surfers Paradise (Australia)
We left Noosa, Sunshine Coast and took a 2 hours drive to Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. On the way out of Noosa, we stopped by the seafood market at Noosa Junction and took another picture of it. The fish, calamari & chips here is really good and cheap too. Hope when I am out of Mummy's tummy, I will get a chance to come back here for the yummy-licious food.
After we reached Surfers Paradise, we checked in at Crowne Plaza, the hotel that we would be staying in for the next 5 days. Then we rested.
After resting, Daddy decided to have dinner at the korean restaurant, that they had been to when they were last in Surfers in 2003. So Daddy & Mummy set off to look for the korean restaurant. And to their surprise, not only did they find the restaurant, but it was full house! So we ended up having to sit outdoors in the cold! Thank God there were heaters to help drive away the cold. Although we had to sit in the cold, but Daddy & Mummy mentioned that the food was still as yummy as the last time they were here. At least they didn't sit in the cold for nothing!

Day 4 in Noosa (Australia)
Our 4th day in Noosa turned out to be a wet day! We went to the Edmundi Markets in the morning. But as it was wet, we didn't stay long. Daddy bought a koala bear haversack for me, but I'll only be able to use it when I'm born and older! Mummy bought a stuffed koala bear toy for me too.
Then it was back to Hastings Street, where Mummy wanted to go to this restaurant that faces the sea. Although it was wet, and the seaview was not as great as on a sunny day, nevertheless, Daddy & Mummy had an enjoyable lunch.

Day 3 in Noosa (Australia)
It's more exploring to be done today! We are off to the GInger Factory Theme Park. Once there, we went for a ginger tour around the factory to see how the raw ginger is processed into caramelized ginger, which would be put to many uses. Apart from the ginger factory tour, the park has a ginger traveller which is a boat cruise and a train that goes around the park. But Daddy & Mummy decided to go on the ginger factory tour only. After the tour, they bought some souvenirs and had lunch at the park.
Next, it was onto the Nutworks Macadamia Nut Factory. Mummy sat down to watch a video on the macadamia nut growing and gathering process. Then it was off to the factory to see the nut sorting process and the chocolate coated nuts process. After that, mummy left with a few bags of macadamia nuts.
Enjoy!

From Brisbane to Noosa (Australia)
I'm a travel baby again! I'm travelling again! Daddy & Mummy, together with me (Where else can I be but in Mummy's tummy!) are in Noosa for a holiday. Noosa is the heart of Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Sunshine Coast is north of Brisbane & Surfers Paradise. Noosa is the name for a collective group of three areas surrounding the Noosa River: Noosa Junction, Noosaville and Noosa Heads.
How did we get to Noosa? We took a flight into Brisbane, and then took a 1.5 hour drive to Noosa in our rented car. On arrival, we checked in Hotel Laguna which is along Hastings Street. Hastings Street is one of the main shopping streets in Noosa Heads. Daddy & Mummy rested after checking into the hotel. Then it was off to explore Hastings Street. After all that exploring, hunger calls! And Daddy & Mummy had dinner at one of the sidewalk cafes -Sierra- along Hastings Street

Last Day of Church Camp (Pattaya)
It's the last day of church camp, and the day got off to a bad start! While taking breakfast in the morning, Mummy felt her tummy was not feeling well. She went back to the hotel room and went to the toilet. Poor Mummy is having diarrhoea again! Mummy thought back and realized that it must be due to the salad from the Sizzler dinner that she had last night. Daddy & Mummy took their bags down to the ballroom where the impartation would be. But Mummy decided to keep the key. And that turned out to be a good decision.
There is a last impartation for the day. During the break, Mummy felt pain in her tummy again and she quickly went back to the hotel room to use the toilet. When the impartation was over, it was time for lunch. After lunch, Mummy went to the toilet again. She prayed really hard that she would be able to clear everything out, as she would need to make a 3+ - 4 hours journey from Pattaya back to Bangkok again.
Finally at 1+pm, it was time to board the bus to make our journey back to Bangkok. By the grace of God, Mummy's tummy felt fine on the journey. Soon it was time to board the plane. As there seemed to be an important person flying on the flight, the security for the flight that day was especially tight. We took the 6.30pm flight which would bring us back to Singapore by 10pm.
On reaching Singapore, we got our luggage and made it home by 10+pm. And it's home sweet home! And Mummy had to rest n recover her strength and stamina to go for her Australia trip on Saturday night.

3rd Day of Church Camp (Pattaya)
After breakfast, it is time for another impartation session. After the session, it was lunch. When lunch was over, a treasure hunt session had been organized. As Mummy is pregnant and am unable to join in the hunt, as there would be certain tasks to be performed, she joined Aunt Serene (who could not join the hunt too) for shopping. Daddy decided to stay back at the hotel to take a nap.
Mummy went to some of the shops at the shopping centre as well as Hard Rock Cafe too. After all that shopping, it was time to head back to the hotel for dinner. As it was the last day in Pattaya, Daddy decided to have dinner outside of the hotel. Daddy & Mummy took a taxi out to the shops and ended up having dinner at Sizzlers. Then they took a walk around and ended up taking some pictures at this hotel.
After dinner, Mummy called Aunt Karen to see where they were going for shopping, as we are supposed to join them. But as they were going to a place far from where we were, Daddy & Mummy decided not to join them. So Daddy & Mummy hailed a taxi and negotiated the fare to 20 baht before boarding. However, when we reached the hotel, the taxi driver asked for 40baht and claimed that the agreement of 20 baht was for 1 person. But Mummy insisted that when she said 20 baht, she did indicate that it was for 2 persons and not for per person. End up the security personnel stepped in to intervene and and the matter was closed without Mummy having to pay extra money.
When we went into the hotel lobby, we bumped into Aunt Bee Leng & Samuel. Aunt Bee Leng mentioned that Samuel wanted to bowl, but had no one to bowl with. So Daddy ended up bowling with Samuel, while Mummy and Aunt Bee Leng chit chat. After bowling 2 games, Daddy was tired and we all went back to our room to sleep.

2nd Day of Church Camp (Pattaya)
2nd day of church camp! After breakfast, it was more impartation time. Lunch time came quickly! After lunch, we had some free time to either join in some organized activities or to do some exploring/shopping.
As Mummy was still tired after all the travelling done yesterday. Daddy insisted that Mummy take a nap to rest. Initially Mummy protested, but she was won over by Daddy's persuasion and took that nap. After that nap, Mummy woke up feeling refreshed and didn't feel as tired.
Then it was off to dinner, and another impartation time. After that, Daddy & Mummy decided to spend some time with their cell group. We went to a popular shopping area and ended up at the Swensens there for ice cream. After that, we took the taxi back and even passed by the red light district there!
Once back, it was time for bed!! The end to another tiring day!

Church Camp (Pattaya)
I'm a travel baby ! I'm travelling even before I am born! I'm off with Daddy & Mummy to Pattaya for church camp! The church camp is going to run from June6-9.
We take a flight from Singapore to Bangkok at around 12.30pm. From Bangkok, we took a mini bus from Bangkok to Pattaya. The ride takes about 3 over hours. By the grace of God, Mummy survived the bus ride. We arrived at the hotel at Pattaya at around 5pm. Got our hotel room, put down our luggage and it was time to go for the camp briefing.
After the camp briefing, it was dinner time! We had dinner, took a short rest, and it was time for the 1st camp impartation time. The impartation was done by Pastor Bruce Hills. He pastors a church in Brisbane and is at the church camp by invitation. The impartation time finished at 9pm. By then, Mummy was really tired. So it was back to the hotel room where we quickly washed up. And it was time to hit the sack!
