Visiting Baby Kylie

Mummy's at Thomson Medical Centre today. She is there to visit Aunt Rykiel who has given birth to Kylie. We met Aunt Christina & Aunt Ruting too. After chatting for a while and admiring baby Kylie, it was time to leave. Wonder when it'll be my turn to make my appearance.

8 Months and Counting Down

Where are we at today? We are back at Dr Lim's office. Daddy & Mummy are going to meet with me again. Dr Lim did the ultrasound and assured Daddy & Mummy that all is going well and I am still growing. On the ultrasound, it is seen that I am still head up. As Mummy's wind problem is gone, she is able to eat more and this time round, she has put on 6kgs. At the end of the visit, Mummy will be back to see me again on the 34th week.

2nd Parent Craft Class

It is the 2nd parent craft class. Before class started, Mummy bumped into Aunt Rykiel's husband at Delifrance and learnt that Aunt Rykiel has been admitted to the hospital as she had contractions. Mummy popped by to visit her before heading to class. Aunt Rykiel looked alert and fresh.

After the visit, it was off to class. Daddy & Mummy did a revision of what they had learnt last week, with Mrs Wong teaching them some theory on how the baby is positioned in Mummy tummy. And the mummies learnt some breathing exercise that would help them in the birthing process.

As usual, class finished very fast and we had to wait for next week's class again.

Parent Craft Class

Mummy & Daddy have signed up to attend the famous Mrs Wong's Parent Craft class in the Thomson Medical Centre. Today will be their 1st class. In the class, they will learn how to take care of me when I am born. We will be attending the class together with Uncle Kay Jin, Aunt Christina & baby Chloe -in Aunt Christina's tummy-.

For the 1st class, Mummy learnt how to do exercises that are good for her and Daddy learnt how to message Mummy if she has a cramp! Floor mats were placed on the floor for all the mummies & daddies to practise. Time passes very fast, and soon it was time to leave.

We Meet Again!

Yes, we meet again! Who? You wonder.....It is Daddy & Mummy that is meeting me again at Dr Lim's office. In the ultrasound, it can be seen that I am still making myself comfortable and resting on my butt. Dr Lim's verdict, all is well and I am growing steadily too. Mummy has put on 4.8kgs.

Recovery from Food Poisoning

It took Mummy a week to recover completely from the food poisoning episode. She had to content with gas and bloatedness for 5 days before it completely clear. She was so relieved when it was all over!

Food Poisoning!

Mummy is back at Dr Lim's clinic because she is down with food poisoning again! After her 1st trimester, Mummy thought she was safe from food poisoning. Unfortunately she is wrong! Hence, Daddy & Mummy are back at the Gynae's office today. Mummy is now in her 29th week of pregnancy. Dr Lim mentioned that he would do an ultrasound to take a look at me to ensure that I am fine. When Mummy did her ultrasound, she & Daddy get to meet with me again. Dr Lim checked and assured Mummy that all was fine. From the ultrasound, it is seen that I am still head up. Dr Lim assured Mummy that it is still early, and that there was ample time for me to be head down. By now, Mummy has put on 4.4kgs. Dr Lim prescribed medication for Mummy to take for the food poisoning.

1st MTB Gathering

There is a Mummies-to-be gathering today at Aunt Maureen's place at Campassvale Link -Sengkang-. Mummy is going alone as Daddy wants to stay home to catch a nap.

Mummy left home to head out to Lana Cake Shop at Greenwod Avenue to collect the Chocolate Fudge Cake. Unfortunately, while overtaking a van along Cluny Road, the van moved out of the lane and knock into the side back of Mummy's car. Thank God Mummy and I are fine. After settling with the van driver, Mummy tried to call Daddy to let him know what have happened. But despite calling Daddy many times, he didn't pick up the phone. As Mummy wanted to check with the insurance company on what she should do, but she didn't have the insurance cover note, and being pregnant, she couldn't remember which insurance company it was. Unfortunately, Mummy didn't have the agent's handphone either. So she called a mutual friend to get the number. However, after calling the agent's handphone a coule of times, he did not pick up. So Mummy had to call the mutual friend again and told him what had happened. The mutual friend called the agent too and finally the agent called Mummy back. She was given the insurance company's hotline -Axa- to call. After Mummy called and understood from them what she is supposed to do, she continued on her journey to Lana Cake Shop.

After collecting the cake, it was off to Aunt Maureen's place. Daddy finally called Mummy when she was at the cake shop. Mummy reached Aunt Maureen's place and met up with the other Mummies-to-be, and here is a picture taken that day,
