Fever! Flu or Teething?

Just as I was wondering what a fever was yesterday.......this morning, I woke up feeling hot & chilled at the same time! I made some noise which woke mummy up. Mummy reached over to carry me and was alarmed to feel that I was very warm. She stuck something in my ear and said that I am having a fever. Now I know what a fever feels like.....but must it come this soon?? I was only wondering about it yesterday and not asking to personally experience it!

Mummy called daddy & Dr. Steven. Then she gave me some pink colour liquid through a syringe. I drank it at first, but didn't like it after that as it left an after-taste! Then mummy bundled me up and off we went in the car. We arrived at Gleneagles and pretty soon, I realized that we were going to Dr. Steven's clinic. Jess, the clinic receptionist, took my weight, I am now 8.015kgs. Then she took my height too, but my mummy forgot what it was in her fluster about me having a fever!

After that, in we went to see Dr. Steven. On seeing him, I was greatly distressed as I was afraid that I would be getting a jab from him again! I protested very loudly and mummy comforted me. Mummy told him that daddy was sick and I was having a fever. Dr. examined me and told mummy that I could have gotten the flu from daddy, or I may be teething! Am I teething?? I really don't know. But for the past few months, mummy & daddy have been asking me why I have no teeth!

Anyway, after we left the clinic, I felt tired and slept in the car. When we got home, mummy fed me lunch and gave me more of that yucky pink liquid. I gagged on it and threw up part of my lunch! As I felt terrible, I wanted mummy to be near by all the time and I want mummy to carry me. When mummy walked away for a while, I would fuss, so that she would quickly rush back.

As I couldn't fall asleep at night, mummy had to latch me on and feed me until I fell asleep. But I woke up again when mummy put me on the bed. End up, mummy carried me and walked around until I slept around midnight.
